A Special Creative Wellbeing Event with Bassetlaw District Council

Join artist Sarah for a relaxed outdoor painting workshop set within the beautiful surroundings of the award-winning Kings Park.

Guided step-by-step, you’ll create your own contemporary semi-abstract artwork — a vibrant composition of colourful wildflowers set against a soft coastal horizon. This expressive design is created using immersive, beginner-friendly techniques designed to encourage creativity, mindfulness, and a sense of calm.

All materials are provided, and no previous painting experience is needed.

By the end of the session, you’ll take home a finished, ready-to-hang piece of wall art — a meaningful reminder of your creative time in the park.

Good to know:

* Age guidance: This event is for adults 18+ only
* We will be sheltered under the bandstand, however please dress appropriately for the weather and for using non-washable artist paints
* As this is an outdoor session, please bring drinks and wear sunscreen if needed
* You are welcome to bring your own refreshments
* Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time to find your seat
* Session time: 11am – 1pm
* Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable
* Tickets are £10 per person, subsidised in partnership with Bassetlaw District Council

* This is a ticketed event. For health and safety, insurance, and capacity reasons, the workshop area and seating are reserved for ticket holders only. We are sorry but we cannot admit additional guests or children to this event.
